Lodown #68

Posted by chris on October 21, 2009 at 03:52 PM

Issue #68 once again tries to showcase a rather probabilistic yet elaborate amalgamation of art, music, Bewegungskunst and the things in-between and off-center. Andrew Weatherall talks some sense into the superficial British music-scene, David Bowie's son Duncan Jones re-evaluates his childhood while chatting with us about his impressive retro-futuristic directorial debut Moon, and Tom Sachs proves that he's not only the second best Jewish carpenter on this planet, but an outspoken and pretty much unrivalled visionary in an (art) world stuck in predictable social settings. He even found some time in his busy schedule to exclusively draw the cover for this issue. Enjoy this issue. We certainly did.

Anti Pop Consortium, Mungolian Jet Set, Kling/Zero 7, Lusine, Canyons, Leon Lace, Andrew Weatherall, Fenech-Soler, Sterling Laurence, Tom Sachs, Moon by Duncan Jones, Laurie Lipton, David Meskhi, Leif Podhajsky, Andy Gilmore, Hannes Schmid, Tami Uyama, Shay Kun, Jeremy Scott and much more...
